Platinum Performance Series™ is also available for several John Deere® combine and industrial applications. Pistons in these overhaul kits are produced from an aluminum hypereutectic alloy.

This allows the pistons to:

• retain a high percentage of strength and hardness during normal operations
• have a very low coefficient of thermal expansion
• have a higher resistance to wear
• have a higher tensile strength
• help extend the life of the engine

The combustion bowls in these pistons have been enhanced to create higher compression to improve starting of the engine. These applications cover the majority of the agricultural tractors in which these kits can be used:
